  81. "Tear Down the Wall" is a strategy game invented by
  82. the author where players are awarded points for
  83. destroying the most bricks in a wall.

  85. Bricks have different point values and hardness.
  86. The hardness determines how the wall crumbles.

  90. Select Help from the game menu for the exact rules of the

  118. If you are reading this on your computer screen, you
  119. should first print the manual.  Make sure all of files
  120. are in the default directory.  Refer to a DOS manual
  121. to see what this means.  To print the manual, enter
  122. PRINTMAN at the DOS prompt.

  124. It is assumed that you will be looking at the printed
  125. manual as you try out the program.

  127. The tutorial is a series of steps.

  129. 1)  Start the program.

  131.     Enter:  WALL
  132.  
  133. 2)  Read the copyright notice, then continue:

  135.     Press:  <ENTER>
  136.  
  137. 3)  The wall has already been built and is
  138. ready to go.  Select a brick with the arrow
  139. keys or mouse and watch the wall begin to
  140. crumble.
  141.  
  142. 4)  The computer will select a brick to play
  143. against you.  Watch the scores at the top of
  144. the screen.
  145.  
  146. 5)  It is your turn again.  Select a brick
  147. that supports others so that more will fall.
  148.  
  149. 6)  Keep alternating turns with the computer
  150. until no more bricks are left.  The computer
  151. will annouce the winner.
  152.  
  153. 7)  Select NEW GAME from the menu to keep
  154. playing (press <F1> to get the menu if it
  155. is not displayed).
